Why is Social Science Education?

    Hello, ladies and gentlemen. I will tell you about the reason why I choose education of social science. but before that, I would like to introduce my self. my name is Esi Supianti, I'm an new student at Tanjungpura University majoring Education of Social Science in Teaching and Learning Faculty. I'm form Sambas, West Borneo. I was graduated from senior high school in 2014 but I just can continue my study in University in 2016. Actually, the Education of Social Science Major is not my choice but it's my brother. my dream is to be a nurse, but I know that my parents are not able to fund me. I was disappointed and sad but it's the reality that I had to face. I have lost my will to continue my study in University but my family always support me and give spirit to apply again in 2016. 

    My brother handled everything from the start. And he choose this major because it's new major and the opportunity to can pass is bigger than other major. Alhamdulillah, I was stated as one of the success applicants that pass in the National Selection to enter the university. Although it's not my choice but studying the social science is very interesting.  Because social science is very dynamic and it's not exact. in many cases, we have to think a problem form various perspectives and theories. And it's challenging to me to can solve that problem and study more about the social science. To be a teacher is also a noble work and I realize that I can't be like this without teachers who teach me. I hope that everything can be run well and i can be a useful person for this nation. Amiin
